Extension cable

The extension cable (1) comprises a plug provided with a housing, and a connector (5) coupled to a housing cable (2) having a first socket (3). The housing of the connector is arranged with an additional power outlet. The additional power outlet is arranged on the opposite side of the plug. The first outlet is a portion of a strip. An overload protection element such as a fuse is arranged in the housing of the connector. The overload protection element is accessible through a side of the housing on which the connector is arranged.
