The tempering device (1) has a cooler (4,5) and a heat pump (20), in which a cooling medium is circulable. A fuel cell (2) is temperable by the cooling medium and is flowable in a cooling system (40). Another cooling medium is flowable on a cooling medium part path (42,43) by a cooler for cooling the former cooling medium, where the latter cooling medium is heated in another cooling medium part path (41).
