<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell module that prevents diffusion of an oxidant gas and by allowing the oxidant gas to be come into easy contact with a cell, the oxidant gas is fully supplied to the cell and leads to proper performance of power generation. <P>SOLUTION: This fuel cell module FC includes a plurality of fuel cell units 30 including a fuel cell 4, and an upper support plate 400a for holding the respective other end sides of the plurality of fuel cell units 30. The respective other-end sides of the plurality of fuel cell units 30 penetrate the upper support plate 400a, and in the penetrating portions, the respective plurality of fuel cell units 30 are fixed tightly on the upper support plate 400a. In the upper support plate 400a, openings 400ab are formed as oxidant gas inlet portions for passing a residual oxidant gas which has not contributed to power generation reaction in the plurality of fuel cell units 30.
