摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel battery cell stack unit improved in reliability. <P>SOLUTION: In the fuel battery cell stack unit (62), a plurality of fuel battery cell stacks (30, 40) are electrically connected, a fuel gas is made to flow from one end (1a) to the other end (1b) of a hole (8) of a substrate (2) of the fuel battery cell stack and air is flowed to the outside of the fuel battery cell stack, the substrate has peripheral faces consisting of a first peripheral portion and a second peripheral portion located on the mutually opposite sides in the thickness direction and a first connecting face portion and a second connecting face portion located on the mutually opposite sides in the width direction. The respective fuel battery cell stacks are connected electrically in series, and each of the fuel battery cell stacks has a non-power generation portion formed on which the fuel battery cells (4) are not laminated, at the central part in the width direction respectively on the first peripheral portion side and the second peripheral portion side, and an electrolyte (14) is laminated at the portion of the substrate of the non-power generation portion of the fuel battery cell stack. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
