The condensation dryer has a heat exchanger (2) for the deposition of moisture absorbed from an air circuit (3) in a drying chamber (1). The heat exchanger comprises a sorption unit (5), which is connectable with a liquid reservoir (7). A cooling fluid flow (4) is generated between the liquid reservoir and the sorption unit, which flows through the heat exchanger. The sorption unit and the liquid reservoir are connected through a hermetically sealed passage (8), which leads through the heat exchanger. An independent claim is included for a method for operating a condensation dryer. |
