Provided is a fitting-type folded-plate roofing material which enhances mutual supporting force by the inner-seam-side fitting part and the outer-seam-side fitting part, and ensures high seam fastening so that the seam fastening joint does not loosen nor come off even if the seam fastening joint is pressed. A fitting-type folded-plate roofing material consists of a base in the lateral center of a rectangular metal plate, inclining side plates which are raised respectively from the opposite lateral ends of the base, horizontal parts stretching in the horizontal direction respectively from the upper ends of the inclining side plates, and an inner-seam-side fitting part and an outer-seam-side fitting part standing respectively from the idle ends of the horizontal parts, wherein the outer-seam-side fitting part has a substantially mushroom-shaped cross section consisting of a base-side leg rising from the edge of the horizontal part, a dome-shaped head provided continuously to the upper end of the base-side leg, and a side-end-side leg formed at a position extended from the dome-shaped head, and the inner-seam-side fitting part has a substantially umbrella-shaped cross section consisting of a leg rising from the edge of the horizontal part, and a mountain-shaped head provided continuously to the upper end of the leg. |
