A water valve is provided to improve performance of an air-conditioning system by preventing leak of cooling water using a flat valve contacting with inner circumference. A water valve comprises a housing(10) in which a hollow(18) is formed inside; a first connecting part(11) for drawing in cooling water, formed in one side of the housing a second connecting part(12) connected to an inlet pipe of a heater core, formed at right angle with the first connecting part on the outer periphery of the hollow; a third connecting part(13) on the surface facing to the second connecting part, connected to a bypass pipe of the heater core; a lid(40) enclosing the top of the housing; and a flat valve(30) controlling flow of cooling water by selectively opening and shutting the first, second, third connecting part, turning around a rotating shafts(31,32), inserted longitudinally along the axial direction of the hollow. |
