PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for manufacturing direct reduction iron using iron sand are provided to enhance the reduction of the iron sand by oxidizing the iron sand using fluidized furnaces. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for manufacturing direct reduction iron using iron sand comprises a mixer (10), a fluidized oxidation furnace (20), a cooling tank (30), a drier (40), a preheating furnace (50), and a fluidized reduction furnace (60). The mixer mixes the iron sand and sodium chloride (NaCl). The fluidized oxidation furnace oxides the iron sand mixed in the mixer. The cooling tank cooks the oxidized sand iron to dissolve sodium metavanadate(NaVO3) contained in the oxidized iron sand. The drier dries the cooled and oxidized iron sand.
