The invention relates to an electronic time-delay system which is applicable to electric trolling depth mechanisms and composed of a control board 1 and a power board 2 both connected to the encoder-equipped motor of the electric troll mechanism, which motor is susceptible to initiate motion for the collection of sinkers. The aim of the invention is to securely retain the bait near the bottom for easier and more efficient fishing.
