PURPOSE: An organic light emitting diode device and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to improve light extraction efficiency by forming a phase change thin film layer with phase change materials. CONSTITUTION: A phase change thin film layer (311) is formed on a substrate and is made of phase change materials. An anode layer is formed on the phase change thin film layer. An organic light emitting layer (330) and a cathode layer (340) are successively formed on the phase change thin film layer. The phase change thin film layer is reversibly changed by heat or light.
