<p>PURPOSE: A surface lighting device is provided to prevent the loss of light by installing a first refractive index matching material between a light guide plate and a diffusing member. CONSTITUTION: A light guide plate is formed with a surface light source. A reflective member (130) reflects light emitted from the light guide plate. A diffusing member (140) diffuses the light emitted from the light guide plate. A first refractive index matching material (150) has the same refractive index as the light guide plate's. The first refractive index matching material is installed between the light guide plate and the diffusing member.</p> |
