PURPOSE: A VOC reducing device and a controlling method thereof are provided to easily check the malfunction of a temperature sensor through a temperature variation by including a plurality of temperature sensors to sense the temperature of a heating coil. CONSTITUTION: A first damper for regeneration is formed in an external air inlet of a body. A VOC treatment rotor (150) desorbs hygroscopic moisture with hot air. A second damper (180) and a third damper (190) for the regeneration are formed on a regenerative air discharge path. A plurality of temperature sensors sense the temperatures of a heating coil for the regeneration and the VOC treatment rotor. A controller (210) for a VOC reducing device controls the operation and temperature of the VOC reducing device.
