PURPOSE: A floor carpet for a vehicle in which sound absorption performances are improved is provided to obtain weigh reduction effects and thermal insulation effects and to reduce noise through a hollow of a hollow fiber sound absorption layer. CONSTITUTION: A floor carpet for a vehicle in which sound absorption performances are improved is manufactured by laminating a hollow fiber sound absorption layer on a carpet fabric, a foamed fiber, or a nonwoven fabric. The hollow fiber sound absorption layer comprises an upper felt layer, a lower felt layer, and a filler. The upper felt layer and the lower felt are manufactured by mixing a low-melting point polyester fiber and a polyester hollow fabric at a predetermined ratio. The filler is manufactured by mixing the low-melting point polyester fiber, a black fiber, and foam chip at the predetermined ratio and is formed between the upper felt layer and the lower felt layer.
