PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of basic magnesium sulfate compound is provided to obtain a needle-like basic magnesium sulfate compound with high yield, using a sulfide magnesium single precursor by controlling the added amounts of an ammonium hydroxide(NH4OH), hydroxide ammonium, and magnesium sulfate. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of basic magnesium sulfate compound using magnesium sulfate single precursor comprises a step of mixing magnesium sulfate and solvent; a step of titrating the solution mixture to pH of 8-12 by adding ammonium hydroxide; a step of filling a hydrogenation reactor with the mixture and reacting the mixture in a drying oven; a step of obtaining a precipitate from the result by using a centrifuge or filter; and a step of obtaining a needle-like basic 5Mg(OH)2·MgSO4·3H2O by drying the precipitate. The added amount of the magnesium sulfate is 1.0-10.0 mol based on the solution. The concentration of the ammonium hydroxide is 1-8M. |
