摘要 <p>PURPOSE: A gallium oxide-cerium oxide-zirconium oxide complex catalyst for manufacturing of dimethyl carbonate and a manufacturing method of dimethyl carbonate are provided to have a simple manufacturing process, and to control acid-base characteristic of a catalyst to compound dimethyl carbonate at high activity and yield. CONSTITUTION: A gallium oxide-cerium oxide-zirconium oxide complex catalyst uses methanol and carbon dioxide to compound dimethyl carbonate. The complex catalyst is a gallium oxide-cerium oxide-zirconium oxide complex metal oxide which is manufactured from three kinds of metal precursors including gallium, cerium, and zirconium by using sol-gel method. The mole ratio of the cerium oxide-zirconium oxide among the metal oxides is 0.9:0.1-0.1:0.9. The content of the gallium oxide is 0.1-20 weight% of the weight of the catalysts as a standard.
