PURPOSE: A 3D display device and an image processing method thereof are provided to conveniently watch a 3D image in any position by using a multi-view image processing method reducing a dead zone. CONSTITUTION: A multi-view image generating unit (120) generates a multi-view background image having depth information higher than a preset depth value and a multi-view panorama image having depth information lower than the depth value by using inputted image and depth information. A multi-view image rendering unit (130) places the multi-view panorama image at a first placement pattern. The multi-view image rendering unit places the multi-view background image at a second placement pattern. The multi-view image rendering unit renders the multi-view panorama image and the multi-view background image. A display unit (140) displays the rendered images.
