PURPOSE: A system for operating distributed content using a wireless access point (AP) and a method thereof provide designated content for a wireless terminal of a user where wireless link is formed, as managing the wireless AP to prevent degradation of communication quality of the wireless AP. CONSTITUTION: A wireless AP mapping unit (125) checks terminal link information for a wireless terminal to link the wireless terminal of a user wirelessly to N number of wireless APs. The wireless AP mapping part maps the checked terminal link information to the information about N number of wireless APs. An information providing unit (140) provides the terminal link information about the wireless terminal of the user for the mapped N number of wireless APs and registers the terminal link information. A history receiving unit (150) receives wireless link history and content providing/using history about the mapped terminal link information from the N number of wireless APs. A wireless AP operation unit (155) maintains or erases the terminal link information registered in the N number of wireless APs on the ground of the received history.
