摘要 PURPOSE: A health food composition is provided to offer improved amount of omega-3 fatty acid, which is a high class unsaturated fatty acid. CONSTITUTION: Perilla seeds are washed and dried. The dried perilla seeds are roasted at 190-210°C for 20-40 minutes. The roasted perilla seeds are extracted to obtain perilla seed oil. 100 parts by weight of perilla seed oil is mixed with 0.5-3 parts by weight of Chrysanthemum indicum or Chrysanthemum zawadskii extract. The drying process is conducted at 55-65°C for 1-3 hours, and the water content of the perilla seeds is less than 15%. Chrysanthemum indicum or Chrysanthemum zawadskii is extracted by using water, C1-C4 low class alcohol, or their mixture as a solvent.
