PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a magnetic heating effect material in a transition metal pnictide system with doped boron is provided to reduce magnetic hysteresis, thereby increasing a magnetic entropy change value. CONSTITUTION: A transition metal halide is heat-treated. A pnictogen element is heat-treated. A pnictogen oxide is heat-treated. A boron oxide is heat-treated.
