摘要 PURPOSE: A relative steering angle sensor offset compensation method of the system for controlling the stability of vehicle is provided to fulfill reliability as to a reference model for presuming a steering angle, to accurately compensate a relative steering angle offset and to stably maintain a vehicle posture control. CONSTITUTION: The relative steering angle sensor offset compensation method of the system for controlling the stability of vehicle includes following steps. The reliability as to the reference model for presuming the steering angle is evaluated by using a sensor measurement value(101). Depending on the evaluation result of the reference model, whether the offset compensation of the relative steering angle sensor or not is decided(103). If the reliability as to the reference model is fulfilled, the offset is compensated by using a steering angle presumed by the reference model and a steering angle measured with a steering angle sensor(109). The reliability evaluation as to the reference model uses steering-angle change amounts presumed with the reference model and decides a road surface state. As a result of deciding the road surface state, if the road surface state is a low friction surface, the reliability is evaluated low. If the road surface state is not a low friction surface, the reliability is evaluated high.
