PURPOSE: A tunable capacitor is provided to effectively calibrate a circuit or a surrounded connecting device by being operated in a bypass mode. CONSTITUTION: A tunable capacitor comprises a variable capacitor (30), a bypass switch (BS), and a tuning switch. The variable capacitor is located between a first terminal (10) and a second terminal (20). The bypass switch controls the on or off of bypass connection between the first terminal and the second terminal. The tuning switch controls the on or off in the connection of an impedance tuning unit connected to both ends of the variable capacitor.
