PURPOSE: An integrated outer cover-core poly lactic acid fiber, and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to have excellent durability and mechanical strength. CONSTITUTION: An integrated outer cover-core poly lactic acid fiber comprises a structure taking poly lactic acid as core, and thermoplastic polymer is surrounding the core as an outer cover. The fiber comprises: 20-40 wt% of poly lactic acid; and 60-80 wt% of thermoplastic polymer. The poly lactic acid is fermentation-synthesized from biomass. The poly lactic acid is PLLA, PDLA, or their mixture. The thermoplastic polymer is more than one selected among polypropylene, polyethylene, polyester, polyamide, polycarbonate, styrene group, and polyolefin.
