PURPOSE: A game apparatus and a control method thereof are provided to accomplish an event which fires weapons in the game by having a simple touch screen operation. CONSTITUTION: A game apparatus comprises a display module which indicates virtual space within the game from a character view on a touch screen (13); an operation module which is maintained by inputting first touch (310) into the touch screen and generates shooting events in which the character fires weapons inside the virtual space; and a shooting module which fires the weapon according to the firing event. A game control method comprises the following steps: indicating a virtual space inside the game from a character view on the touch screen; inputting the first touch on the touch screen; maintaining input of the first touch and inputting second touch in the touch screen; and generating the firing event in which the character fires weapons inside the virtual space when inputting of the first touch is maintained and the second touch is input. |
