PURPOSE: An antifouling agent is separated from Leucothrix mucor, is environment-friendly, prevents the attachment of spores, inhibits sprouting, and prevents environmental pollution due to chemical products. CONSTITUTION: An environment-friendly antifouling agent includes a Giffinisterone B component (C27H42O3). The Giffinisterone B is extracted from the culture medium of Leucothrix mucor (strain number 2451) which is a filamentous fungus. The concentration of the Giffinisterone B is 1-100 ug/mL. |
