PURPOSE: A vehicle driving assisting method and a vehicle driving assisting device are provided to predict motion of an actual vehicle more accurately, thereby increasing the safety of driving a vehicle. CONSTITUTION: A vehicle driving assisting method includes following steps. A GPS signal is received. Based on a received GPS signal, parameters of an inertial sensor (130) are corrected. After applying corrected parameters, motion of a vehicle is measured, and a measured value is outputted. Using the measured value outputted in the inertial sensor, driving information of the vehicle is obtained. A vehicle driving assisting device (100) includes a GPS module (111) which receives the GPS signal, a correcting unit (120) which corrects the parameters of the inertial sensor, the inertial sensor which measures the motion of the vehicle by applying the corrected parameters and outputs the measured value, an information obtaining unit (150) which obtains the driving information of the vehicle using the measured value outputted in the inertial sensor, and a control unit (190) which controls the GPS module, the correcting unit, the inertial sensor and the information obtaining unit.
