PURPOSE: A method of writing and erasing data EEPROM improves the speed for writing and erasing data by reducing the number of data erasing operations. CONSTITUTION: First data (D1) is written in a partial region of a unit sector (106a) in a flash memory region through a RAM region (104). Second data (D2) is written the remaining data writing region without erasing the whole unit sectors. The unit sector is not erased. The writing of the data through the RAM region is performed by 2 KB as the maximum capacity of the RAM region. Data writing of the flash memory is performed by a RAM buffer. |
