PURPOSE: A transdermal formulation is provided to remarkably enhance skin permeability of lidocaine and to suppress skin permeability of prilocaine in a proper level, thereby preventing side effects caused by excessive administration of prilocaine. CONSTITUTION: A transdermal formulation contains a mixture containing lidocaine or a salt thereof and prilocaine or a salt thereof mixed in a weight ratio of 5:1-1.4:1. The mixture is an eutetic mixture of lidocaine or the salt thereof and prilocaine or the salt thereof.
