PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of Gelidium amansii ethanol extracts manufactures Gelidium amansii ethanol extracts with strong neuritogenic activity. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of Gelidium amansii ethanol extracts comprises a step of collecting, washing, drying, and pulverizing alga specimen; a step of shaking the alga powder in ethanol; a step of centrifuging the slurry and filtering a supernatant; a step of drying the filtrate; a step of dissolving the ethanol extract into DMSO and manufacturing aliquot; a step of cultivating primitive hippocampus nerve cells; a step of treating the cultivated hippocampus nerve cells with GAE obtained in the fifth step; and a step of inspecting the effect of the hippocampus nerve cells.
