PURPOSE: A system for preventing lost articles in a vehicle is provided to improve a sensing rate of a human body, a sensing rate of articles, and an identification rate of the articles and prevent the lost articles in advance by identifying the object which passenger holds with a warning sound of a speaker when the passenger gets off. CONSTITUTION: A system (100) for preventing lost articles in a vehicle comprises a body sensing unit (102), an article sensing unit (104), a control unit, and an article identification unit (108). The article sensing unit is installed in the vehicle and is separated from or integrated with the body sensing unit. The article sensing unit senses articles which passenger holds. The control unit controls continuous sensing operation during a predetermined time according to whether the passenger exist or not and continuous sensing operation during the predetermined time according to whether the articles exist or not with the body sensing unit and the article sensing unit. The article identification unit identifies the sensed articles through the article sensing unit when the body sensing unit cannot sense the continuous sensing operation during the predetermined time according to the alight of the passenger. |
