FIRE RETARDANT TREATMENT METHOD OF WOOD

PURPOSE: A method of flame resisting process for timber is provided to form crystallization due to formation of salt in cells of timber by dividing the flame resisting process into a main medicine process and a supplementary medicine process, thereby improving the fire retardant characteristic of the timber without an elution of the medicine even in a long term after the processing. CONSTITUTION: A method of flame resisting process for timber comprises the steps of: putting timber in aqueous solution of Na_2SiO_3 which is a main medicine, and decompressing it; putting the timber in the aqueous solution of Na_2SiO_3, and pressurizing it; drying the timber after the main medicine processes; putting the timber in an aqueous solution which is a supplementary medicine, and decompressing it; putting the timber in the aqueous solution of supplementary medicine, and pressurizing it; and drying the timber after the supplementary medicine processes.
