PURPOSE: A brake device for a vehicle is provided to brake a front wheel in an emergency mode by transmitting a pedal pressure of a driver to a front wheel master cylinder. CONSTITUTION: A brake device (1) for a vehicle includes a rear wheel master cylinder unit (10), an auxiliary cylinder unit (20), an actuator unit (30), a front wheel master cylinder unit (40), a storage tank (50), and a control unit (60). The rear wheel master cylinder unit amplifies fluid pressure by the pressure of a pedal unit (70) and supplies braking power to a rear wheel (80). The auxiliary cylinder unit is installed in the rear wheel master cylinder unit and moves a driving rod (31) with the fluid pressure of the rear wheel master cylinder unit. The actuator is connected to the rear wheel master cylinder unit and moves the driving rod. The front wheel master cylinder unit is connected to the actuator unit and supplies the braking power to a front wheel (90) by amplifying the fluid pressure with the pressure of the driving rod. The storage tank is connected to the rear wheel master cylinder unit and the front wheel master cylinder unit and stores a fluid. The control unit controls the actuator to move the driving rod by sensing a pedal angle of a pedal unit and the fluid pressure of the rear wheel master cylinder unit and the front wheel master cylinder unit.
