CONSTITUTION: An ophthalmic apparatus includes an electronic system, a system controller (104), and an electronic circuit. The electronic system is incorporated into an ophthalmic device (112). The system controller is incorporated into the electronic system to control the operation thereof and is configured to implement a master state machine. The master state machine receives at least one signal and outputs at least one signal.
