<p>The present invention relates to a method for controlling traffic congestion of MTC devices in a mobile communication system which provides a machine type communication (MTC) service. The method of the present invention is configured in that a core network node (for example, MME, MSC, SGSN, etc.) performs scheduling and rescheduling procedures on data communication traffic for user equipment (that is, MTC deices) using subscription information and congestion control information of the user equipment; and generates a resultant recalculated time interval parameter and transmits the parameter to the user equipment, thereby efficiently distributing the amount of data communication (that is, traffic) concentrated to a specific time slot, and thus controlling traffic congestion or network overload.</p> |
