PURPOSE: A display device and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to overlap each color area of a color filter layer with two sub-pixel electrodes. CONSTITUTION: A substrate includes a plurality of sub pixel electrodes(121-123). A color filter layer(120) is arranged on the substrate. The color filter layer forms a plurality of color areas(311~313). Each color area corresponds to one of the sub-pixel electrodes. Each color area partially overlaps with the two sub-pixel electrodes. |
