The entity (100) has a data stream acquisition unit (104) including an extraction unit (106) for extracting a predetermined type identifier from a data stream. A selection unit selects a processing rule of the data stream among a set of processing rules used by communication terminal (120). The selection unit considers information associated with the processing rule and representative of a history of use of the processing rule for processing the data stream comprising the extracted identifier. A providing unit provides the processing rule.
