Preparing a mixture of silane compound and germane compound, comprises reacting a mixture of alloy containing a silicon alloy in the form of power and a germanium alloy in the form of powder with hydrochloric acid, which is pre-dissolved in aqueous solution. Preparing a mixture of silane compound of formula (Si nH 2 n + 2) (I) and germane compound of formula (GeH 4) (II), comprises reacting a mixture of alloy containing a silicon alloy in the form of power having a structure of formula (M 1> xM 2> ySi z) (III) and a germanium alloy in the form of powder having a structure of formula (M 1> xM 2> yGe z) with hydrochloric acid, which is pre-dissolved in aqueous solution.
