TICN- STAINLESS STEEL ALLOY AND PREPARATION METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A TiCN-stainless steel alloy and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to obtain high hardness, strength, and corrosion resistance even though a small amount of TiCN is utilized. CONSTITUTION: A TiCN-stainless steel alloy includes 0.5-20 wt% of TiCN and 80-99.5 wt% of stainless steel. The TiCN-stainless steel alloy is indicated as the following chemical formula: TiCxNy. The x and y are different rational numbers. The x satisfies 0.6 <= x <= 0.8, and the y satisfies 0.2 <= y <= 0.4. The mean diameter of TiCN powder is 50-200 nm. The TiCxNy is heat-treated. The surface of the heat-treated TiCxNy includes 9-10 wt% of C, 8-8.5 wt% of N, 55.5-56.5 wt% of Ti, 10-11 wt% of Cr, and 15-16 wt% of Fe when heat-treated TiCxNy is measured with energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy.
