PURPOSE: An oceanographic observation equipment having an installing unit and a collecting unit is provided to stably maintain a main body mounted on the seabed without movement with minimum effects due to tide and tidal current. CONSTITUTION: An oceanographic observation equipment having an installing unit and a collecting unit includes a main body (10), a rope separating unit, and the collecting unit. The main body has a frame (12) and a housing (14). The circular or rectangular frame having a lattice-shaped reinforcing part is mounted on the seabed. The upper side of the housing is shaped into a cut cone or quadrangular pyramid. The housing is coupled to the upper side of the frame, and forms an inner space. The end portion of an installation rope connected to the winch of a research ship is coupled to or decoupled from the rope separating unit. When the frame is mounted on the seabed, the operation link (152) of the rope separating unit moves a supporting rod (142) backward, and separates the installation rope from the supporting rod. The collecting unit is operated by a sound wave signal from a shipboard, and includes a buoyant body and a collection rope. The buoyant body protruding from the upper side of the housing floats to the surface of water together with the collection rope so that the collecting unit at one side of the frame and the rope separating unit do not interfere with each other inside the main body.
