PURPOSE: An energy-saving method is provided to remarkably save energy by reducing an amount of middle pressure steam, C4LPG and et cetera used as a heat source for the existing aromatic compound separation process. CONSTITUTION: Para-xylene absorption separation is performed from a xylene mixture. Waste heat is retrieved from a raffinate column top condenser for separation and retrieval of a desorbent from a raffinate. The retrieved waste heat is supplied as heat source for a raw material of a butane separation column of a platforming process. The retrieved waste heat is supplied as heat source for a raw material of a butane separation column of a platforming process and as heat source for a reboiler of a naphtha hydrogenated sulfuran process stripper.
