PURPOSE: Dried pears with resiliency and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to have a gelatinous feeling without adding additives and to be easily stored. CONSTITUTION: A method of manufacturing dried pears comprises the following steps: A pear which is harvested from August to November is washed and dried off. The dried off pear is peeled, and the core thereof is removed. The pear is cut to have a thickness of 5-10 mm. The pear is steamed at a temperature 70-100>= for 5-15 minutes. The pear is dried at a temperature 60-90>= for 6-12 hours until the pear has 15-30 by weight% of moisture. The pear is cooled and packed such that the pear is not exposed to air.
