<p>The invention relates to a compactor bin (2) for collecting a load of the household waste type, comprising a box structure formed by a base (6), two side walls (7), a front wall (8), a rear door (9) and a roof (10) having an opening (11) arranged opposite said door (9), a hopper (16) for loading waste being arranged in line with said roof (10). The rear door (9) is mounted such as to be able to pivot about a horizontal axis (19) located in the top part of the box structure. The box structure (2) is provided with a device for compacting the waste, comprising a crushing plate (17) which is mounted such as to be able to move in the base (6) under the action of a ram (17a). According to the invention, the box structure is also provided with an interface zone (30) for coupling to a container (40) and with means (31) for locking said box structure to the container (40) so as to form a secure assembly that enables the load to be transferred from the box structure (2) to the container (40).</p> |
