The device has multiple LEDs (1) arranged in an axis attached with an optical system to produce a uniform luminous band in terms of illumination. The optical system includes an astigmatic ellipsoidal lens (2) having different focal distances according to two perpendicular symmetry planes, and a cylinder lens (3), where an axis of the cylinder lens is parallel with an axis of each LED. The ellipsoidal lens comprises a concave-shaped face and a convex-shaped face with respect to each LED. The cylinder lens is plano-convex lens.
