PURPOSE: A paste composition for an internal electrode increases the sintering contraction temperature of an internal electrode and improves the connectivity of the internal electrode. CONSTITUTION: An internal electrode for the internal electrode of a laminated ceramic electronic component comprises a metal powder; and a chrome oxide powder or a titanium oxide powder which has a higher melting point than metal powder. The laminated ceramic electronic component includes a ceramic material and an internal electrode layer formed inside the ceramic material. In the internal electrode layer, the chrome oxide powder or the titanium oxide powder which has a higher melting point than the metal powder is trapped.
