PURPOSE: A soil conditioner composition for salty land and a planting method by using the same are provided to suppress inflow of sodium ions into salty water and to stably supply inorganic nutrient components necessary for planting while suppressing loss of long-term potassium ion of soil. CONSTITUTION: A soil conditioner composition for salty land which uses illite comprises 20-50 wt% of illite powder, 20-50wt% of dihydrate gypsum (CaSO4.2H2O), 5-20wt% of vermiculite and 1-10wt% of xanthan gum. 1-10wt% of boronic acid based compound selected from boric acid, ammonium borate and boric acid esters is additionally added to the soil conditioner composition.
