LONG GLASS FIBER REINFORCED POLYPROPYLENE RESIN COMPOSITION HAVING LOW DENSITY, HIGH ELASTICITY AND LOW WARPAGE

PURPOSE: A polypropylene resin composition is provided to show an excellent elasticity, post-deformation prevention property and low warpage while maintaining a low density by using a flat glass fiber having a high aspect ratio as an inorganic filler. CONSTITUTION: A polypropylene resin composition comprises (a) 50-80 parts by weight of polypropylene resin; (b) 15-30 parts by weight of long glass fibers; and (c) 5-30 parts by weight of an inorganic filler. The inorganic filler is a flat glass fiber having a non-annular cross section, and has a 2-4:1 range of an aspect ratio of a minor axis length to a major axis of the fiber. The flat glass fiber has 20-30 micron of the major axis length of the fiber, and 5-10 micron of the minor axis length. (a) polypropylene resin is a highly crystalline polypropylene resin having a melting index (MI) of 30-150 g/10 min (ASTM D-1238, 230deg.C).
