PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a stent capable of being connected, curved, and transformed and the stent are provided to simply manufacture and to obtain excellent productivity. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing a stent with a wire of a super-elastic shape-memory alloy includes the following steps of: forming ring units (12, 12') bent in the longitudinal direction which is the columnar direction of the lowest portion and the highest portion with a single wire of a super-elastic shape-memory alloy; alternately and repeatedly laminating a downward movement pattern unit (16) formed by repeatedly forming a single movement pattern downwardly between the lowest and highest portions and an upward movement pattern unit (16') forming the single movement pattern upwardly between the lowest and highest portions; and forming a space unit (70) having a triangular cross section and a space unit (70') having an inverted-triangle shaped cross section in the columnar direction and the transverse direction which is the length direction. The stent is connected, curved, and transformed by being partially and repeatedly expanded and contracted by an external force. |
