PURPOSE: A sliding elastic support for a bridge and a support method using the same are provided to allow an elastic body to slide by integrating a sliding member, a guide member, and a shearing control member each other. CONSTITUTION: A sliding elastic support for a bridge is installed between lower and upper structures and comprises an upper plate(110), a lower plate, an elastic body(130), sliding members(111,112), and a pair of shearing control members(150). The upper plate is coupled to the upper structure. The lower plate is coupled to the lower structure. The elastic body is installed between the upper and lower plates. The sliding members are installed between the upper plate and the elastic body and guide the sliding between the upper plate and the elastic body. The shearing control members are installed on the lower plate to be adjacent to the front and rear sides of the elastic body and control the shearing of the elastic body. |
