PURPOSE: A device for rotating a vehicle at a fixed position and an operation method thereof are provided to enable the easy and safe parking of a vehicle even in a narrow parking space by lifting up a vehicle body and horizontally rotating the lifted vehicle body. CONSTITUTION: A device for rotating a vehicle at a fixed position comprises a main hydraulic cylinder (1) and auxiliary hydraulic cylinders (7). The main hydraulic cylinder is fixed to the bottom center of a vehicle body of a vehicle (A) and has a support (6) and a main hydraulic piston (2). The auxiliary hydraulic cylinders have idle rollers (9) for rotating the vehicle body and auxiliary pistons (8). The idle rollers are arranged at a right angle to the wheels (13) of the vehicle. A rack gear (4) is geared with a pinion gear (3) fixed to the top of the main hydraulic cylinder, and the rotation direction thereof is changed by the interaction between electric motors (10, 11) connected to wire ropes (12). |
