The seat has a main body comprising an upper face (2) serving as a base for a user of a vehicle and a lower face opposite to the upper face. A device allows swinging of the body of the seat and includes a vertical translation unit (5) to allow vertical translation of the body. The device has a rotation movement unit (6) to allow rotation movement of the body. The units are connected to each other. The vertical translation is connected to rest of the vehicle. The rotation movement unit is connected to a side face or to edge of the body of the seat.
