NOISE FOR REDUCTION FAN SHROUD

PURPOSE: A fan shroud for noise reduction forms multiple through-holes at one end part on outer periphery of a ventilation hole, by which the multiple through-holes control air flow when the air passes through the ventilation hole by a fan, reducing a low-frequency noise in a low-frequency band of 400 ~ 800Hz. CONSTITUTION: A fan shroud for noise reduction comprises the ventilation hole (11), the hub (20) and multiple through-holes. A hub is installed in the center part of a ventilation hole so that a fan discharging air may be installed through said ventilation hole. In a cross section of the fan shroud (10) on the outer periphery side of above ventilation hole, multiple through-holes are provided so that noise generated by the air discharged through the ventilation hole by a fan may be reduced. Said hub is connected with the fixing frame (40) connected to the inner periphery of the ventilation hole so as to be provided in the center part of the ventilation hole. While said fixing frame is radially provided around the hub at the center, the frame is formed to be inclined in a rotation direction of the fan connected to the hub.
